Returns

PLEASE, NO RETURNS on  sale priced closeout items.  These have been removed from the website and the pictures deleted. Returning them puts a tremendous burden on our staff.  Please phone before attempting a return of anything with a price lower than our usual discount price (they appear in red).  

Kits may be returned unopened within 30 days for any reason and the product price only will be refunded by the same method used for the purchase.  

Sorry, special order items, cross stitch leaflets and books cannot be returned.

Defective items may be returned for a refund of the purchase price and shipping.

Shipping Terms

We ship most orders US Postal Service Priority mail.  

Orders are filled in 1-3 business days from receipt.  We do not ship on weekends or postal holidays.  If you order Friday afternoon, your order cannot go out until Monday at the earliest.

Online - It's easy, fun, and safe!

We use a secure, encrypted credit card handling system and purge all credit card data after 30 days.   The online system only accepts credit cards at this time - no echecks.

  1. Browse the site, finding all the wonderful things you would like to buy.  
  2. Click the "Add to Cart"  button next to a product description  You should get a popup box confirming the item has been added to your shopping cart
  3. Keep shopping.  Review your shopping cart at any time by clicking on the Checkout link at the top of most pages.  Follow the instructions to delete items or modify quantities. 
  4. Fill out all name and shipping information accurately.  Use the Special Instructions box to specify information we need to complete the order that hasn't already been provided (special colors, deadlines, etc.
  5. Look for an immediate confirming screen with your order number and brief summary of items.  Shortly thereafter, you should receive a confirming email with all details except credit card information.
  6. If an item is out of stock, we try to let you know within several days whether there will be much of a wait.

Phone 

We're not quite as good on the phone, as we are not attended full time to keep our prices low.

Browse the site and write down product ID and (if you can) a short title describing the item (like "Magnolia Floral crewel kit").   Use your own paper or print out our order form for convenience.

2.  Call our toll free number and provide the person the shipping information, price and items requested.  Make sure we get contact information in case your package is returned, card declined or some other catastrophe.  Please note: We no longer have the phone staffed during the entire work day, and sometimes we're in a part of the warehouse where we can't get to the phone. If you leave your name and phone number with our voicemail system, someone should get back to you within a day or so.

3.  Phone orders are faxed to the warehouse as time permits each day.

Fax or mail

1.  Print out an order form each time you shop - information may have changed since your last visit.  Our fax number is

3.  Total and include shipping and handling charge from the chart at the bottom of the form.

4.  Complete form with shipping and credit card information

5.  Mail or fax to the address or fax number on the form.  

6.  Credit card orders are processed when received.  We may hold orders with checks enclosed for 7-10 days to allow the check to clear.

Credit Cards
We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and JMB.  Use credit cards any time: online, by phone or by mail/fax.  Credit card data is maintained on a secure server, encrypted, and is purged every 30 days.

Personal Check
You may use a personal check drawn on a US bank in US dollars.  We cannot accept Eurocheques or other foreign payment instruments.  If you pay by check, please be prepared for a 10 day delay in your shipment as we hold checks for 10 days from date of receipt to allow time to travel to the bank, deposit, and clear the check.
